Join Pakistan Air Force as a Commissioned Officer in the Medical Branch (136 Combat Support Course)
The Pakistan Air Force has opened
online registration for the 136 Combat Support Course, inviting qualified
medical professionals to join as commissioned officers. This is a strong career
opportunity for doctors who want to serve the nation while advancing their
professional growth in a respected military environment. Registration will
remain open from 1 December 2025 to 14 December 2025 through the
official PAF website.

Categories
PAF is offering commissions in two
main categories: the Medical Branch (Specialist) and the Medical
Branch (GDMOs).
Medical
Branch (Specialist) – SPSSC
This branch is for highly trained
specialists with recognized postgraduate qualifications. Candidates may apply
in the following fields:
- Medicine
- ENT
- Eye
- Psychiatry
- Anesthesia
- Radiology
- Neuro Surgery
- Orthopedics
Applicants must hold FCPS, FRCS,
MRCP, MRCS or equivalent foreign qualifications recognized by the Pakistan
Medical and Dental Council. Both male and female Pakistani citizens are
eligible, and the age limit is 25 to 35 years on 15 April 2026. Selected
candidates will undergo 24 weeks of training at PAF Academy.
Medical
Branch (GDMOs) – SPSSC
This category is open to MBBS
graduates with a one-year house job completed in a PMDC-recognized institution.
Preference will be given to those with relevant house job experience. The age
limit for this branch is also 25 to 35 years, and the rank offered is Flight
Lieutenant.
Selection
Procedure
The process includes:
- Online registration at www.joinpaf.gov.pk
- Intelligence and academic tests
- Initial medical exam and physical test
- Psychological assessment
- Final interviews at AHQ Selection Boards
- Final medical exam at CMB
- Merit-based final selection
Candidates must bring a valid NADRA
Smart Card.
